Rev. Tammy Hutton

Children's Ministeries

   Tammy Hutton met her husband Michael at Asbury Theological Seminary, where they both graduated with Masters of Divinity degrees.  After graduation, they married in Halifax, NS, Canada on August 26, 2000.  Tammy and Michael have four children: Catherine (7), Laura (5), Graham (4) and Heidi (1).  Tammy is from central Canada.  She was born and raised in Ontario, and lived in Saskatchewan, Kansas, Michigan, Manitoba and Nova Scotia before moving to Kentucky to attend seminary.

   Tammy and Michael have both worked in the ministry since being married. She was the Assistant Pastor in Portland, ME, the Children's Pastor in Sussex, New Brunswick and Co-Pastored a church with Michael in Sydney, Nova Scoita, prior to their move to Texas.  In 2007 Tammy and Michael relocated to Lubbock to be close to family: Doug and Marlene Hutton, and nephews: Dawson (13), Shaderick (11), Tyson (9) and Derrick (5).

   Mrs. Hutton joined the staff at First Christian Church in October of 2008.
