Minister of Music

Sanctuary Choir

The Sanctuary Choir provides service music each Sunday for our 10:40AM worship service and seasonal events throughout the year. The current role includes 60 singers. The choir repertoire is every eclectic from the great classics through contemporary expressions. Rev. Kim Clowe directs the ensemble, which rehearses Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9PM. Roger Burnell is the accompanist.

Alleluia Ringers

The Alleluia Ringers is our adult English handbell ensemble of 10-15 ringers. The ensemble rings regularly for worship and special concerts. Rev. Kim Clowe is the director. The ensemble rehearses from 1:45-2:45PM Sunday afternoons.

Sonrise Youth Choir

(Grades 6-12) The Sonrise Youth Choir sings monthly during worship services and special programs throughout the school year. The current roster includes 25 singers. The choir tours annually each spring. Tour 2007 is planned for the Hilly Country following the school year. The choir is directed by Kim Clowe and accompanied by Roger Burnell. The 6th and 7th grade rehearses 1st, 2nd & 3rd Sundays from 4-4:45PM. 8-12 grades rehearse from 5-6PM each Sunday evening. 4th & 5th Sundays are combined with the 6&7 graders.

Cherub Choir

(Ages 4-5) The Cherub Choir sings at Easter and Christmas. The choir meets on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10AM. Zama Norris is the director.

  OTHER CHOIRS  

THE CELEBRATION RINGERS

(Grades 2-8) The Celebration Ringers is our youth handbell ensemble. It is directed by Kim Clowe. The ensemble rehearses from 3-3:45PM on Sunday afternoons.

 

  THE JUNIOR CHOIR

(Grades 4-5) The Junior Choir sings monthly during the school year for worship services, presents a Christmas musical and participates in Spring Choral Festival. The choir is directed by Kim Clowe and accompanied by Roger Burnell. The choir rehearses from 5:15-6PM on Wednesday evenings.

  THE PRIMARY CHOIR

(Kingdom Kids, Grades K-3) The Primary Choir sings monthly during the school year for worship, presents a Christmas musical and participates in the Springs Choral Festival. The choir is directed by Zama Norris and accompanied by Pam Patton. The choir rehearses Wednesday from 5:15-6PM.

SILVER STARS CHOIR

Silver Stars is a recreational choir of 50+ adults. We meet each Monday from September-May at 10AM. Repertoire includes Gospel Hymns, Folk Songs and carols that are shared as an outreach ministry in our community. Kim Clowe is the director.
